The Christ the King Crusaders basketball team scored 69 points and limited the visiting Langtree Charter Academy Lions to 19 in the Crusaders league triumph on Tuesday.

The Crusaders now have a 9-4 record. They play next when they host Piedmont Community Charter for a non-league game on Thursday, January 23. Christ the King will confront a Patriots team coming off a 55-48 non-league loss to Cherryville (Cherryville, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 9-5.

With the loss, Langtree Charter Academy falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The Lions host Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Bears in a 1A/2A Catawba Shores game on Friday, January 24. The Bears go into the game with a record of 4-10. Bradford Prep won 42-19 in their recent league game against Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC)
