In Tuesday's league contest, the host North Eugene Highlanders basketball team scored a big 84-23 triumph over the Churchill Lancers.

The Highlanders (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Eagle Point (Eagle Point, OR). The Eagles go into the 5A Midwestern contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Eagle Point was trounced by Crater (Central Point, OR), 76-45, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Lancers confront the Crater Comets (Central Point, OR) in a 5A Midwestern contest, on Friday, January 24. Churchill will attempt to better on its 1-14 season record. The Comets go into the contest with a 16-1 record after their 76-45 league win over Eagle Point (Eagle Point, OR).
