The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Yucca Valley Trojans (Yucca Valley, CA) and the visiting Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs (Thermal, CA), observed Yucca Valley's basketball team knock off Coachella Valley by a score of 55-40.
The Trojans (9-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Twentynine Palms (Twentynine Palms, CA). The Wildcats come into the Desert Valley challenge with a 17-3 record. In their last challenge, Twentynine Palms prevailed over Indio (Indio, CA), 50-23, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Mighty Arabs encounter the Indio Rajahs (Indio, CA) in a Desert Valley challenge, on Thursday, January 23. Coachella Valley will attempt to improve on its 14-5 season record. The Rajahs come into the challenge with a 1-13 record after their 50-23 league loss to Twentynine Palms (Twentynine Palms, CA).
