In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host St. Bernard Prep Saints basketball team scored a close 39-38 triumph over the Colbert Heights Wildcats.

The Saints (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering (Huntsville, AL). The Sentinels go into the non-league contest with a 0-13 record.

In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Sheffield Bulldogs (Sheffield, AL) in a 3A Area 15 contest, on Thursday, January 23. Colbert Heights will attempt to better on its 12-13 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 7-7 record after their 67-31 non-league loss to Deshler (Tuscumbia, AL).
