The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Garrard County Golden Lions (Lancaster, KY) and the host Danville Admirals (Danville, KY), observed Garrard County's basketball team overcome Danville by a margin of 70-61.

The Golden Lions (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln County (Stanford, KY). The Patriots come into the District 45 challenge with a 6-9 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln County dropped by Woodford County (Versailles, KY), 50-47, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Admirals battle the Madison Central Indians (Richmond, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 23. Danville will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 17-0 record after their 60-35 non-league win over Bryan Station (Lexington, KY).
