In Tuesday's league contest, the host Pickering Red Devils basketball team scored a big 58-9 triumph over the DeQuincy Tigers.
The Red Devils (15-7) will now prepare for their contest against Rosepine (Rosepine, LA). The Eagles go into the 2A District 4 contest with a 14-9 record. In their last contest, Rosepine smashed Westlake (Westlake, LA), 55-31, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Pine Prairie Panthers (Pine Prairie, LA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 22. DeQuincy will attempt to better on its 2-9 season record.
