The Cougars (25-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Greater Cabarrus Stallions (Concord, NC). The Stallions come into the North Carolina Home Education - West challenge with a 6-15 record. In their last challenge, Greater Cabarrus Stallions trounced Covenant Classical (Concord, NC), 35-34, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hawks encounter the South Charlotte Thunder (Matthews, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 24. Forsyth Home Educators will attempt to improve on its 14-10 season record. The Thunder come into the challenge with a 4-14 record after their 59-10 non-league loss to Covenant Day (Matthews, NC).
