In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Garrison Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 48-24 triumph over the Gary Bobcats.

The Bulldogs (17-8) will now prepare for their contest against Elysian Fields (Elysian Fields, TX). The Yellowjackets go into the 2A Region III District 23 contest with a 3-16 record. In their last contest, Elysian Fields was trounced by Beckville (Beckville, TX), 41-17, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bobcats battle the Timpson Bears (Timpson, TX) in a 2A Region III District 23 contest, on Friday, January 24. Gary will attempt to better on its 7-20 season record. The Bears go into the contest with a 15-13 record after their 40-35 league win over Joaquin (Joaquin, TX).
