In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Highland Park Scots basketball team scored a big 58-13 triumph over the Turner Lions.
The Scots (18-11) will now prepare for their contest against Wakeland (Frisco, TX). The Wolverines go into the 5A Region II District 12 contest with a 25-5 record. In their last contest, Wakeland smashed Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX), 66-39, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Lions confront the Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX) in a 5A Region II District 12 contest, on Friday, January 24. Turner will attempt to better on its 2-19 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 14-8 record after their 36-31 league loss to Lone Star (Frisco, TX).
