The Nolensville Knights (Nolensville, TN) basketball were winner over the host Independence Eagles (Thompson's Station, TN), 42-28 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Knights now possess a 17-2 record. They play next when they travel to Brentwood for a 4A District 10 bout on Friday, January 24. Nolensville will play a Bruins team coming off a 72-26 league win over Centennial (Franklin, TN). The Bruins record now stands at 14-3.

With the loss, Independence falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Page (Franklin, TN) to play the Patriots in a 4A District 10 bout on Friday, January 24. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 17-4. Page won 48-34 in their recent league bout against Ravenwood (Brentwood, TN)
