In Tuesday's league contest, the host South Lyon East Cougars basketball team scored a good 48-29 triumph over the Kettering Captains.
The Cougars (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Mott (Waterford, MI). The Corsairs go into the Lakes Valley contest with a 0-1 record.
In their next game, the Captains battle the Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish (Pontiac, MI) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 24. Kettering will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Fighting Irish go into the contest with a 6-3 record after their 49-42 non-league win over Swartz Creek (Swartz Creek, MI).
