Utah High School Basketball - Layton can't hold off Weber

The Weber Warriors nipped the visiting Layton Lancers basketball squad by a final score of 57-54 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Warriors face the Davis Darts (Kaysville, UT) in a 6A Region 1 outing, on Friday, January 24. Weber will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Darts enter the outing with a 10-5 record after their 53-41 league win over Farmington (Farmington, UT).

The Lancers (2-14) will now prepare for their outing against Fremont (Plain City, UT). The Silverwolves enter the 6A Region 1 outing with a 15-2 record. In their last outing, Fremont was nipped by Syracuse (Syracuse, UT), 43-41, in a league outing.
