Nebraska High School Basketball - Stanton fells Madison

The Stanton Mustangs basketball team scored 33 points and limited the visiting Madison Dragons to 21 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now have a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lyons-Decatur Northeast for a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. Stanton will confront a Cougars team coming off a 47-35 non-league win over Wakefield (Wakefield, NE). The Cougars record now stands at 6-9.

With the loss, Madison falls to 7-9 on the campaign. The Dragons host Humphrey-Lindsay (Humphrey, NE) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Thursday, January 23. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 12-3. Humphrey-Lindsay won 56-34 in their recent non-league game against Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] (Clearwater, NE)
