The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Marion Patriots (Marion, AR) and the host Paragould Rams (Paragould, AR), observed Marion's basketball team overwhelm Paragould by a margin of 65-35.

The Patriots (14-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Batesville (Batesville, AR). The Pioneers come into the 5A East challenge with a 8-8 record. In their last challenge, Batesville trounced Nettleton (Jonesboro, AR), 67-59, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Rams battle the Searcy Lions (Searcy, AR) in a 5A East challenge, on Friday, January 24. Paragould will attempt to better on its 0-12 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 63-26 league loss to Valley View (Jonesboro, AR).
