Washington High School Basketball - Woodland nips Mark Morris

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Woodland Beavers basketball team scored a close 61-54 triumph over the Mark Morris Monarchs.
The Beavers (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hockinson (Brush Prairie, WA). The Hawks go into the 2A Greater St. Helens contest with a 2-12 record. In their last contest, Hockinson nipped Hudson's Bay (Vancouver, WA), 57-11, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Monarchs battle the Ridgefield Spudders (Ridgefield, WA) in a 2A Greater St. Helens contest, on Thursday, January 23. Mark Morris will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Spudders go into the contest with a 4-10 record after their 44-40 league loss to Columbia River (Vancouver, WA).
