The McGehee Owls (McGehee, AR) basketball edged the visiting Rison Wildcats (Rison, AR), 44-41 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Owls now possess a 13-3 record. They play next when they host Central for a 3A Region 8 bout on Monday, January 27.
With the loss, Rison falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Drew Central (Monticello, AR) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 17-4.
