Vermont High School Basketball - Mt. Abraham holds off Vergennes

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Mt. Abraham Eagles basketball team scored a close 45-39 triumph over the Vergennes Commodores.
The Eagles (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Colchester (Colchester, VT). The Lakers go into the Lake contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Colchester nipped Missisquoi Valley (Swanton, VT), 46-22, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Commodores confront the Enosburg Falls Hornets (Enosburg Falls, VT) in a Mountain contest, on Friday, January 24. Vergennes will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Hornets go into the contest with a 5-3 record after their 36-33 non-league loss to Milton (Milton, VT).
