Next, the Warhawks encounter the Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, AR) in a 2A Region 5 test, on Friday, January 24. Mt. Vernon-Enola will attempt to improve on its 17-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 20-1 record after their 56-23 league win over Bigelow (Bigelow, AR).

The Bulldogs (8-8) will now prepare for their test against Central Arkansas Christian (North Little Rock, AR). The Mustangs come into the 2A Region 5 test with a 1-19 record. In their last test, Central Arkansas Christian went down by Robinson (Little Rock, AR), 41-37, in a non-league test.
