The Navajo Prep Eagles basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host Zuni Thunderbirds to 32 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now possess a 12-5 record. They play next when they host Wingate for a 3A District 1 game on Thursday, January 23. Navajo Prep will confront a Bears team coming off a 58-42 league loss to Newcomb (Newcomb, NM). The Bears record now stands at 11-5.
With the loss, Zuni falls to 4-12 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Crownpoint (Crownpoint, NM) to confront the Eagles in a 3A District 1 game on Thursday, January 23. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 8-8. Crownpoint lost 38-23 in their recent league game against Tohatchi (Tohatchi, NM)
