New York High School Basketball - Patchogue-Medford toppled by William Floyd

William Floyd Colonials (Mastic Beach, NY) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they observed their basketball team knock off the host Patchogue-Medford Raiders (Medford, NY), 50-39 in a league challenge.
The Colonials (7-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Longwood (Middle Island, NY). The Lions come into the Section 11 AAA-1 challenge with a 2-1 record.
In their next game, the Raiders encounter the Walt Whitman Wildcats (Huntington Station, NY) in a Section 11 AAA-1 challenge, on Thursday, January 23. Patchogue-Medford will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 12-3 record after their 50-41 league win over William Floyd (Mastic Beach, NY).
