Maine High School Basketball - Penobscot Valley routs Piscataquis

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Penobscot Valley Howlers basketball team scored a big 94-27 triumph over the Piscataquis Pirates.
The Howlers (14-0) will now prepare for their contest against Woodland (Baileyville, ME). The Dragons go into the C North contest with a 1-12 record. In their last contest, Woodland was trounced by Mattanawcook (Lincoln, ME), 92-28, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Pirates battle the Orono Riots (Orono, ME) in a C North contest, on Thursday, January 23. Piscataquis will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record. The Riots go into the contest with a 2-11 record after their 48-37 league loss to Calais (Calais, ME).
