Texas High School Basketball - The Colony nips Reedy

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting The Colony Cougars basketball team scored a close 43-39 win over the Reedy Lions.
The Cougars (14-13) will now prepare for their contest against Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX). The Trojans come into the 5A Region II District 12 contest with a 12-9 record. In their last contest, Newman Smith was tipped by Wakeland (Frisco, TX), 66-39, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region II District 12 contest, on Friday, January 24. Reedy will attempt to better on its 19-12 season record. The Rangers come into the contest with a 11-15 record after their 36-31 league win over Creekview (Carrollton, TX).
