In Tuesday's league contest, the host Tatum Eagles basketball team scored a big 62-31 triumph over the Sabine Cardinals.
The Eagles (18-6) will now prepare for their contest against Arp (Arp, TX). The Tigers go into the 3A Region II District 16 contest with a 9-20 record. In their last contest, Arp was trounced by Troup (Troup, TX), 42-32, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Cardinals confront the White Oak Roughnecks (White Oak, TX) in a 3A Region II District 16 contest, on Friday, January 24. Sabine will attempt to better on its 7-19 season record. The Roughnecks go into the contest with a 4-20 record after their 75-24 league loss to Tatum (Tatum, TX).
