Texas High School Basketball - Southlake Carroll holds off V.R. Eaton

The Southlake Carroll Dragons basketball team scored 41 points and limited the host V.R. Eaton Eagles to 40 in the Dragons league triumph on Tuesday.
The Dragons now have a 19-9 record. They play next when they host Northwest for a 6A Region I District 4 game on Friday, January 24. Southlake Carroll will confront a Texans team coming off a 41-38 league loss to Keller Central (Keller, TX). The Texans record now stands at 10-20.
With the loss, V.R. Eaton falls to 16-9 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Byron Nelson (Trophy Club, TX) to confront the Bobcat in a 6A Region I District 4 game on Friday, January 24. The Bobcat go into the game with a record of 21-8. Byron Nelson won 56-47 in their recent league game against Keller (Keller, TX)
