The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Thomas Jefferson Jaguars (Jefferson Hills, PA) and the visiting Trinity Hillers (Washington, PA), observed Thomas Jefferson's basketball team overwhelm Trinity by a score of 70-43.

The Jaguars (12-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Albert Gallatin (Uniontown, PA). The Colonials come into the WPIAL 5A 4 challenge with a 6-8 record. In their last challenge, Albert Gallatin trounced Gateway (Monroeville, PA), 50-30, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hillers battle the Baldwin Highlanders (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 23. Trinity will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 67-57 league loss to Peters Township (McMurray, PA).
