Next, the Wildcats clash with the Samuell Spartans (Dallas, TX) in a 5A Region II District 14 test, on Friday, January 24. Wilson will attempt to improve on its 18-13 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 8-12 record after their 72-8 league loss to North Mesquite (Mesquite, TX).

The Wranglers (12-13) will now prepare for their test against Spruce (Dallas, TX). The Timberwolves come into the 5A Region II District 14 test with a 2-14 record. In their last test, Spruce went down by Adams (Dallas, TX), 38-33, in a league test.
