The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA) and the visiting Yorktown Patriots (Arlington, VA), observed Washington-Liberty's basketball team edge Yorktown by a score of 26-22.
The Generals (4-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Langley (McLean, VA). The Saxons come into the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record.
In their next game, the Patriots encounter the George C. Marshall Statesmen (Falls Church, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 30. Yorktown will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
