The Fluvanna County Flying Flucos basketball team scored 40 points and limited the host Charlottesville Black Knights to 29 in the Flying Flucos non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Flying Flucos now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Louisa County for a non-league game on Friday, January 24. Fluvanna County will confront a Lions team coming off a 38-32 non-league loss to Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA). The Lions record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Charlottesville falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Black knights travel to Orange County (Orange, VA) to confront the Fighting Hornets in a game on Thursday, January 23. The Fighting Hornets go into the game with a record of 6-5. Orange County won 53-28 in their recent league match against Monticello (Charlottesville, VA)
