In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Craig County Rockets basketball team scored a good 38-26 triumph over the Eastern Montgomery Mustangs.
The Rockets (11-1) will now prepare for their contest against Highland (Monterey, VA). The Rams go into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Highland topped Richwood (Richwood, WV), 42-26, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs confront the Bath County Chargers (Hot Springs, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 24. Eastern Montgomery will attempt to better on its 1-13 season record. The Chargers go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 39-13 non-league loss to Riverheads (Staunton, VA).
