Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Sissonville Indians (Charleston, WV), 47-41 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Ripley advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Vikings travel to Hurricane (Hurricane, WV) to meet the Redskins in a non-league battle on Thursday, January 23. The Redskins enter the battle with a record of 2-0.

The Indians now own a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hoover for a non-league battle on Monday, January 27. Sissonville will meet a Huskies squad coming off a 40-31 non-league loss to Sissonville (Charleston, WV). The Huskies record now stands at 1-1.
