The Staunton Storm basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting Riverheads Gladiators to 33 in the Storm non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Storm now have a 9-1 record. They play next when they host Rockbridge County for a non-league game on Thursday, January 23. Staunton will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 50-25 non-league loss to Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-7.

With the loss, Riverheads falls to 9-2 on the campaign. The Gladiators host Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Thursday, January 23. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 6-7. Stuarts Draft lost 53-46 in their recent non-league game against Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA)
