In Tuesday's league outing, the host Walnut Grove Wildcats soccer squad scored a nice 8-0 victory over the Denison Yellow Jackets.

The Wildcats (7-0) will now prepare for their outing against Greenville (Greenville, TX). The Lions go into the 5A Region 2 District 13 outing with a 0-8 record. In their last outing, Greenville was overwhelmed by Melissa (Melissa, TX), 6-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Yellow Jackets confront the Lovejoy Leopards (Lucas, TX) in a 5A Region 2 District 13 outing, on Friday, January 24. Denison will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Leopards go into the outing with a 6-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Anna (Anna, TX).
