In Tuesday's league outing, the host Orland Trojans soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Live Oak Lions.

The Trojans (11-1) will now prepare for their outing against Gridley (Gridley, CA). The Bulldogs go into the Butte View outing with a 3-10 record. In their last outing, Gridley was edged by Corning (Corning, CA), 5-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Lions battle the Oroville Tigers (Oroville, CA) in a Butte View battle, on Thursday, January 23. Live Oak will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 5-13 record after their 5-0 league loss to Las Plumas (Oroville, CA).
