In Tuesday's league contest, the Santa Teresa Saints (San Jose, CA) soccer team edged the visiting Live Oak Acorns (Morgan Hill, CA), by a tally of 3-2.
Next, the Saints face the Evergreen Valley Cougars (San Jose, CA) in a BVAL - Santa Teresa - East contest, on Thursday, January 23. Santa Teresa will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 6-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Ann Sobrato (Morgan Hill, CA).
The Acorns (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Christopher (Gilroy, CA). The Cougars enter the BVAL - Santa Teresa - East contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Christopher held off Silver Creek (San Jose, CA), 2-0, in a league contest.
