Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Menlo School Knights (Atherton, CA) and the host Notre Dame Regents (San Jose, CA), saw Menlo School's soccer squad hold off Notre Dame by a count of 2-1.

The Knights (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Crystal Springs Uplands (Hillsborough, CA). The Gryphons come into the West Bay - Skyline match with a 7-2 record. In their last match, Crystal Springs Uplands nipped Harker (San Jose, CA), 3-0, in a league match.

The Regents now sport a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they host Harker for a West Bay - Foothill match on Friday, January 24. Notre Dame will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-1 league win over Notre Dame (Belmont, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-4.
