The South Spartans soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Peninsula Panthers to 0 in the Spartans league victory on Tuesday.
The Spartans now possess a 10-2 record. They play next when they host Wiseburn- Da Vinci for a Pioneer bout on Friday, January 24. South will play a Wolves squad coming off a 3-2 league win over El Segundo (El Segundo, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 9-5.
With the loss, Peninsula moves to 7-8 on the year. The Panthers travel to North (Torrance, CA) to play the Saxons in a Pioneer bout on Friday, January 24. The Saxons go into the bout with a record of 5-4. North won 9-0 in their recent non-league bout against Leuzinger (Lawndale, CA)
