In Tuesday's league contest, the host Rosemount Irish ice hockey team scored a close 10-3 victory over the Lakeville North Panthers.

The Irish (15-2) will now prepare for their contest against Eastview (Apple Valley, MN). The Lightning go into the South Suburban contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Eastview edged Eagan (Eagan, MN), 6-4, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers play the Chanhassen Storm (Chanhassen, MN) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 23. Lakeville North will attempt to better on its 3-10 season record. The Storm go into the contest with a 4-11 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN).
