The St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) basketball were winner over the visiting Belen Eagles (Belen, NM), 71-51 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Sartans now possess a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Grants for a non-league bout on Friday, January 24. St. Pius X will play a Pirates team coming off a 59-51 non-league win over Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Pirates record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, Belen falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Highland (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Friday, January 24. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 10-0. Highland won 58-57 in their recent non-league bout against Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM)
