The Walnut Mustangs basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Claremont Wolfpack to 24 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now have a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Glendora for a game on Tuesday, February 4.

With the loss, Claremont falls to 8-10 on the campaign. The Wolfpack host Bonita (La Verne, CA) to confront the Bearcats in a game on Thursday, January 23. The Bearcats go into the game with a record of 12-8. Bonita lost 63-54 in their recent non-league game against Diamond Bar (Diamond Bar, CA)
