The Columbia Lions basketball team scored 41 points and limited the visiting Northport Mustangs to 31 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now possess a 2-12 record. They play next when they travel to Republic for a non-league game on Wednesday, January 22. Columbia will play a Tigers team coming off a 54-52 non-league loss to Cusick (Cusick, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 8-4.

With the loss, Northport falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Curlew (Curlew, WA) to play the Cougars in a non-league game on Friday, January 24. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 4-11. Curlew lost 28-7 in their recent non-league game against Selkirk (Ione, WA)
