The La Salle Academy Rams basketball team scored 72 points and limited the host Smithfield Sentinels to 39 in the Rams non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Rams now have a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Pleasant for a non-league game on Thursday, January 23. La Salle Academy will confront a Kilties team coming off a 61-44 non-league loss to Classical (Providence, RI). The Kilties record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Smithfield falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Sentinels host Lincoln (Lincoln, RI) to confront the Lions in a non-league game on Thursday, January 23. The Lions go into the game with a record of 0-3.
