The Lake Lure Classical Academy Raptors basketball squad (Lake Lure, NC), was crushed 63-29 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Temple Baptist Eagles (Asheville, NC)
With the victory, Temple Baptist advances its record to 8-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Veritas Christian Academy (Arden, NC) to meet the Warriors in a battle on Thursday, January 23. The Warriors enter the battle with a record of 2-9. Veritas Christian Academy lost 61-37 in their recent league battle against Nebo Crossing Academy (Nebo, NC)
The Raptors now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Christian Family Academy for a battle on Monday, January 27. Lake Lure Classical Academy will meet a Fire squad coming off a 55-15 league win over Pinnacle Classical Academy (Shelby, NC). The Fire record now stands at 10-2.
