Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the University Prep Panthers (Redding, CA) and the visiting Anderson Cubs (Anderson, CA), saw University Prep's soccer squad knock off Anderson by a score of 3-0.

The Panthers (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Yreka (Yreka, CA). The Miners enter the Northern Athletic battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Yreka tipped West Valley (Cottonwood, CA), 4-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Cubs confront the Central Valley Falcons (Shasta Lake, CA) in a Northern Athletic battle, on Thursday, January 23. Anderson will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Falcons enter the battle with a 0-6 record after their 10-0 league loss to Lassen (Susanville, CA).
