Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Templeton Eagles (Templeton, CA) and the visiting Atascadero Greyhounds (Atascadero, CA), saw Templeton's soccer squad knock off Atascadero by a count of 3-1.

The Eagles (9-5) will now prepare for their battle against Santa Ynez (Santa Ynez, CA). The Pirates enter the Sunset battle with a 4-9 record. In their last battle, Santa Ynez tipped Lompoc (Lompoc, CA), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Greyhounds battle the St. Joseph Knights (Santa Maria, CA) in a Sunset contest, on Friday, January 24. Atascadero will attempt to advance on its 11-8 season record. The Knights enter the contest with a 4-8 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Faith Christian (Coalinga, CA).
