Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Pecos Eagles (Pecos, TX) and the host Big Spring Steers (Big Spring, TX), saw Pecos's soccer squad triumph over Big Spring by a count of 6-0.

The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX). The Mustangs enter the 4A Region 1 District 2 battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Sweetwater was overwhelmed by Burkburnett (Burkburnett, TX), 6-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Steers battle the Estacado Matadors (Lubbock, TX) in a 4A Region 1 District 2 battle, on Friday, January 24. Big Spring will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Matadors enter the battle with a 1-2 record after their 4-2 league loss to Andrews (Andrews, TX).
