Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Classical Academy Caimans (Escondido, CA) and the host San Diego Jewish Academy Lions (San Diego, CA), saw Classical Academy's soccer squad hold off San Diego Jewish Academy by a count of 1-0.

The Caimans (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Del Lago Academy (Escondido, CA). The Firebirds enter the Pacific battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Del Lago Academy tipped Foothills Christian (El Cajon, CA), 4-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Lions battle the Guajome Park Academy Frogs (Vista, CA) in a battle, on Thursday, January 23. San Diego Jewish Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Frogs enter the battle with a 3-2 record after their 1-1 non-league Santa Fe Christian (Solana Beach, CA).
