Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Leake County Gators (Walnut Grove, MS) and the visiting Northeast Lauderdale Trojans (Meridian, MS), saw Leake County's soccer squad knock off Northeast Lauderdale by a count of 3-1.

The Gators (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Warren Central (Vicksburg, MS). The Vikings enter the non-league battle with a 16-2 record. In their last battle, Warren Central tipped Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Trojans battle the Enterprise Bulldogs (Enterprise, MS) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, January 28. Northeast Lauderdale will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 7-10 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Pisgah (Sandhill, MS).
