The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Trinity Shamrocks (Camp Hill, PA) and the host Bishop McDevitt Crusaders (Harrisburg, PA), observed Trinity's basketball team overwhelm Bishop McDevitt by a count of 74-53.

With the victory, Trinity advances its record to 15-1 on the year. The Shamrocks host James Buchanan (Mercersburg, PA) to meet the Rockets in a Mid-Penn - Capital battle on Friday, January 23. The Rockets enter the battle with a record of 5-8.

The Crusaders now own a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boiling Springs for a Mid-Penn - Capital battle on Friday, January 23. Bishop McDevitt will meet a Bubblers squad coming off a 68-44 league win over Camp Hill (Camp Hill, PA). The Bubblers record now stands at 9-9.

First Quarter

Bishop McDevitt faced a tough challenge at home against Trinity, falling 74-53 in a hard-fought contest that saw the team's impressive 14-1 record take its second blemish of the season. Second Quarter

The game got off to a difficult start as Trinity jumped out to a 9-0 lead before Bishop McDevitt found their rhythm. The Crusaders responded with determination, sparked by Ethan Hammer's early free throws and a solid two-pointer from Patrick Denisco. Hammer emerged as the team's floor general in the first quarter, leading all Bishop McDevitt scorers with 5 points and connecting on a crucial three-pointer to keep the team within striking distance at 20-12 after one quarter.

Third Quarter

The second and third quarters showcased the team's depth and resilience. Liam Fuller provided an immediate spark off the bench in the second quarter, shooting a perfect 3-for-3 from the field and contributing 6 points with efficient scoring.
