California High School Basketball - American Canyon tops Casa Grande

January 22, 2022: Petaluma, CA 94954

Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the American Canyon Wolves (American Canyon, CA) and the host Casa Grande Gauchos (Petaluma, CA), saw American Canyon's basketball squad knock off Casa Grande by a count of 75-65.

With the victory, American Canyon upgrades its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to San Lorenzo (San Lorenzo, CA) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 24. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 3-9. San Lorenzo lost 65-55 in their recent league challenge against Arroyo (San Lorenzo, CA)

Next up, the Gauchos play the Vintage Crushers (Napa, CA) in a Vine Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 25. Casa Grande will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Crushers come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 60-54 league loss to American Canyon (American Canyon, CA).
