Genesis Prep Academy Jaguars (Post Falls, ID) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Wallace Miners (Wallace, ID), 63-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Genesis Prep Academy upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Lakeside (Plummer, ID) to play the Knights in a 1A Scenic Idaho bout on Tuesday, January 25. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Lakeside lost 76-68 in their recent non-league bout against Coeur d'Alene (Coeur d'Alene, ID)

Next up, the Miners play the Priest River Spartans (Priest River, ID) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 25. Wallace will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record.
